Sarah Cole is an artist who works across media and in different social contexts.
Since 2017, Sarah has worked collaboratively with Annis Joslin, as Cole & Joslin. This work has involved 360 video, and led to a series of new video work and projects with Brighton Women's Centre and Joining Hands, Joining Hearts, a domestic abuse charity in Kent.
Sarah Cole's work involves orchestrating conversations and events as live research into lived experience. She explores the territories of pedagogy, performance and place with a particular interest in models of care.
Sarah is a Senior Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.

MESSY BUSINESS, made with survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, People United / Joining Hands Joining Hearts, Cole & Joslin
SMOTHER, developed with very young parents, a sited performance in King's Cross, commissioned by Artangel, with Coram
TRIBE, an exhibition evolved from working with a young women's group and presented at Peckham Platform
IN-KIND, a one-to-one performance in an old military ambulance, made with long-term 'hidden' carers, commissioned by Air / Islington Council
