Messy Business was developed in collaboration with Annis Joslin and Joining Hands Joining Hearts, a charity supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse in Kent. These images are stills form the six videos that, together, make a 20-minute artwork that explores experiences of abuse. Each short video is approximately 3-minutes long, and can be used as a provocational tool for difficult discussions.

This work (in-progress) was first screened at the Social Art Summit in Sheffield, November 2018, where Sarah and Annis spoke alongside John Hume from the People's Health Trust, on the subject of 'Surfacing Control'.

Messy Business was screened at Cine-City, Brighton Film Festival on 13.11.19
